IAFF Local 1664 is committed to being transparent with the membership about the focus of our political agenda. The priority has always been standing up for firefighters and the issues that impact our members, our families, and the community we serve.
We don’t align ourselves with any one political party; we support both sides of the aisle when they support firefighters. No matter where someone falls politically, if they support firefighters, public safety, and the resources we need to do our jobs effectively, they’ll have our support.
At the end of the day, the challenges we face don’t belong to one side or the other. They affect all of us. And that’s why we’ll continue to work with anyone, regardless of party, who’s willing to stand with us and help move the fire service forward.
